Campaign meeting dates have been set for the "Elect Joy Lane County Commissioner" committee. The meetings are held each Monday evening at 6 p.m. at 250 Branchview Dr. Concord, NC. Ray Fry and Donnie Icenhour are co-chairs of this committee.
Members of this committee are striving to have Ms. Lane elected during the May 6th primary. Please feel free to attend the meetings. All citizens are welcome.

Joy Lane for Cabarrus County Commissioner
Joy Lane has announced that she is seeking a seat on the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. Lane filed Friday February 29 to be included on the May primary ballot. There are two available seats.
Lane, a Republican said that her concern of the people of Cabarrus County, her knowledge and love of the County and her experience in the small business sector would be a great benefit to the Commission.
Lane stated that her main goals would be to work hard to keep taxes at a low rate that would be affordable to all citizens of the county. Another priority would be to assure that funding would be available for the education of our youth including the best technology in our schools so that our children can compete in the global market. Lane would serve as an advocate for Senior Citizens, making sure that adequate funding was provided for them.
Lane, was born in Cabarrus County. she attended Northwest Cabarrus High School, Rowan Cabarrus Community College and has her Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke Universtiy.
